Self-taught painter and performance artist., "live art" is my middle name. Traveled, the road- defined style has become my mark. I mean I've worked it in many places. I'm still very much in love with creating and my continuous experimentations. I have a studio in Mid City. I paint on Frenchmen street.

Describe your art in three words.
Projecting Natural Experience
Describe yourself in one word. Complex
What do you love the most about creating art in New Orleans? What particular part of your immediate environment, in your neighborhood specifically influences your work? The liveliness of the community. It's embedded deeply in the atmosphere around us and in its people. It's all in the music and colorful characters that I see.
Describe your creative process. Are there any rituals or rites of passage you exercise before you begin a new piece? I just like to explore.
Where do you draw inspiration? Museums and art books/magazines
Who are your artistic influences or gurus? Francis Bacon, Lucien Freud, the landscapes of Kustav Klimpt, Max Ernst.
In New Orleans, art and music go hand in hand. What type of music, band or song lyric best describes your work? Miles Davis was big for me starting out. "Bitches Brew" in particular. That album reached into a lot of places, and I took its meaning to do things my way. It's about being brave and trusting yourself.
Where can we find you when you are not creating art? At the studio or at the bar. Shooting pool or watching films.
What is your favorite time of day/day of the week/month of the year? It's always been the golden hour when the suns is going down. Jazz Fest is the best time of year hands down.
What is something people don’t know about you? A fun fact. I like to dance in private.
