This is a print of the original painting.
This song was running through my head as I painted. In good times and oil spills… that's what friends are for. I painted with plenty of thick black gesso and swirling water. There is gold at the top representing hope. We all need friends. Did you know there are thirty species of turtles, tortoises and terrapins in Louisiana. Not just bugs.
The original is acrylic paint, on wood. Framed in an antique wood frame acquired at an estate sale in the Marigny. The original is in a private collection. If you would like a different size or a giclée, please message me. All prints are signed and numbered. I ship them in a cellophane sleeve on chipboard, in a ridged mailer.
