Follow this artistI was born into a military family so I moved quite often as a child. It wasn't until my high school years that my family finally came to settle in Louisiana - and 20+ years later...I'm still here! After graduating high school, I enlisted in the USAF as an aircraft mechanic working on C-130 Gunships. My enlistment in the Air Force allowed me the flexibility to begin working independently as an interior decorator and faux painter across the Gulf South Region stretching from Lafayette in south Louisiana all the way across the Florida panhandle to Destin and Fort Walton Beach.
In 2016, after a very personal encounter with the "Great 1,000 Year Flood" that devastated Baton Rouge and surrounding areas, I decided to set aside my professional hat as designer and faux painter, and instead turned a more acute focus to the refinement of my artistic perspective in the creation of my painted compositions. Today, I'm ambitiously concentrated on the cultivation of the study and creation of "emotionally stimulating - non-conformance" abstracts. My objective "...a more intimate self awareness through the manifestation of a forced subjection to my own subconscious." In other words - I paint my feelings! Through this methodical and onerous process of developing my technique, I aspire to attain a more prolific acknowledgment and appreciation of my higher self.
