I was born and raised in Covington, Louisiana. Having all of my extended family living in New Orleans gave ample opportunity to visit and discover the city and fall in love. I am a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi holding a degree in both psychology and art, concentrating in painting and drawing. As a New Orleans based artist, I try not to maintain one concrete style, from conceptual, to subjective, and abstract, I rather like to dip my toes in each before moving to the next.
Art has been my life for as long as I could breathe, primarily painting and drawing. If a picture is worth a thousand words, I have been writing novels. I've traveled around the country, each place has gained a special spot in my soul. These precious moments have made their way to my easel. From the scenery while traveling, the trees and the mountains, a coffee shop, to the characters of my city, in the parades and the music that fills the air, there is no limit. I paint the stories they tell me, be it in a subjective or abstract manner.
