I'm a freelance photographer based out of New Orleans, Louisiana. I have always loved photography. When just a young boy, I so wanted to have my Dad's Canon AE-1. In high school, I used to stare at Ansel Adams photos. I even purchased a few to hang in my dorm room in college. I played with cameras on and off over the years. When I did play with them, it was not for very long. In 2015, I decided it was time to stop playing with a camera and truly learn to capture the images I have always envisioned in my head, but did not know how! I love photographing things in motion (runners, dancer, street photography). I use to be an endurance freak where I completed 3 full Ironman triathlons, raced in 10 marathons, and even competed in a 39-mile trail race. I love capturing a special moment or something that occurs in a split moment since you may have not even seen it if it happened too quickly. I also love capturing environment in my photos since it tells a bigger story!
By day, I’m a registered professional engineer designing offshore platforms for the Oil & Gas industry. Yes, boring geeky stuff! So basically, I’m a geek with a camera!
